Runa Yoga opens Superior studio
Runa Yoga is offering stretching, sculpt, and savasana at a new studio in Superior.
It’s on the 1400 block of Tower Avenue, next door to the Globe News building. Owner Madeline Fisher lives in Wisconsin and saw a need for a studio on the Superior side of the bridge.
“It just seemed like a market that we didn’t have here in Superior. So it’s been really exciting to see all the people who haven’t done yoga in like 20 years because they haven’t had the opportunity,” she said.

They have vinyasa flow classes at three levels, slow flow, and sculpt options. Runa is also still offering some classes in Duluth and putting on yoga retreats.
“I got into yoga when I was pregnant with my youngest, five – almost six years ago now. And I did prenatal yoga,” Fisher said. “It gave me an opportunity to connect in with my body, and it also helped me through postpartum, and I just love being able to share that gift with other people as well.”
She’s seen yoga improve her mental health and even her parenting.
