Rapids Radio is planning a new Rock Fest in July.

KOZY/KMFY/J105 are hosting Warrant, April Wine, and Molly Hatchet in the parking lot behind Rapids Brewing Co.

“We decided we wanted to do something a little bit different in Grand Rapids,” General Manager Marcus Lind said. “Grand Rapids has some different events that occur, but nothing real rock and roll.”

Every year, the station tries to do something community-oriented. This year, they decided to give Rock Fest a try.

Classic rock is the vibe. Doors open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. Tickets cost around $40.
