Learning to paint with Northern Exposure Art
This Saturday, Northern Exposure Art will host its grand opening from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Lincoln Park Enger Lofts building.
Northern Exposure Art is a painting studio owned by Carly Jandl, who also teaches painting classes for all levels of all experience.
“I guide you through the whole thing,” says Carly, “…if you’re just feeling stuck or frozen, we can walk you through it. I wanted to just foster creativity in all forms in this space.”
For more information you can check out Northern Exposure Art’s website here. And to see what classes Carly has coming up you can check here.
Along with her group classes, Carly says she’s looking to host private lessons or if people want rent out the space for a group paint. She also has a wide variety of paint supplies for people to buy.
When you walk into Northern Exposure you’ll see tons of Carly’s paintings on the wall. Almost all of them Carly will host a painting class for.
“Being in Duluth and the North Shore provides inspiration in itself. So I take scenes from there, I combine it with ideas that I have. And yeah, so a lot of it is Duluth North Shore themed, and that’s why we’re all here, so that’s what we want to see,” says Carly.
