Mr. Burns is a bull snake who lives at the Lake Superior Zoo. He is the largest snake species in North America, measuring up to 6 feet long.

As constrictor species, the snakes squeeze their prey. And to prevent themselves from becoming prey, bull snakes will mimic the behavior of rattlesnakes.

Bull snakes can take big bites thanks to their lower jaw, which separates into two pieces.
