How to create an efficient vision board

We're diving into different ways you can make your own vision board and learning the science behind it too.

January is often the month where we set goals for the new year, including making vision boards. They are a helpful aide to envision what you want your year to look like.

The vision board can become way more than just a fun activity. They can be a powerful tool to set up your goals. That’s because we as humans are visual creatures.

They also spark neuroplasticity: which means our brains are constantly changing and adapting in response to our experience, what we think and see.

So when we paste things up we want to achieve or to bring into our life our brain starts responding accordingly to make it a reality.

According to Karnowski of Metamorphosis Coaching, Consulting and Training, 82% of participants who used a vision board accomplished more than half of the goals. She says in that same study, 76% of the business owners reported that their success was due in part to their clear vision for their company because of creating a vision board.

But how do you make a vision board? Well you can actually get crafty!

  • Get your basic tools together – a board, scissors, magazines, paper, markers.
