Screens surround us, and whether we know it or not, our bodies feel the effect.
Amelia Chapman works with the nervous system through her business, Mind Body Amore. She says screens can be a source of stress if not limited.
For example, screen time right away in the morning can flood your brain with dopamine and leave you feeling overwhelmed before the day has really begun.
Too much screen time can also overwhelm our nervous system and build into anxiety, fatigue, and brain fog.
Chapman has three suggestions for minimizing screens’ impact on a healthy nervous system:
