Photographer Hayes Scriven captured a rare photo recently that included both the aurora and the Milky Way in the sky near Split Rock.

He said on Destination Duluth the aurora had been brighter earlier in the night, but when he saw the Milky Way beginning to rise, he knew he still had something special.
