Celebrating 20 years of LOON with throwback production

Lyric Opera of the North, Loon, is putting on a production of Die Fledermaus at the NorShor Theatre on June 13 and 15.

The show was chosen in celebration of the Duluth-based opera’s 20th anniversary. The first event LOON ever did features scenes from Die Fledermaus.

The show is sung in English and subtitles will be projected above the stage. The operette is describes an ode to bubbles, waltzes, masked ba;;s. and melodies.

There’s a special discount for students to see the show at $12. Tickets are available online.
