Grandma's Marathon and the Young Athlete's Foundation are teaming up to create the YAF Winter Challenge to keep area kids active this month and next. The free program will replace the "Saturday Morning at the Races" series which was cancelled for 2021 due to pandemic related concerns.

YAF Winter Challenge is partnering with University of Minnesota-Duluth, St. Scholastica, and University of Wisconsin-Superior to list various indoor and outdoor activities for kids to complete. Each college will be featured for a different two week period with unique challenges for those participating.

Those interested can sign up now at Grandma's marathon's website and pick up challenge kits starting today.
