UMD begins annual summit on equity, race, ethnicity

Created: March 02, 2021 11:12 AM

Starting today, UMD will host its annual summit on Equity, Race and Ethnicity.

Since 2003 the university's Commission on Equity, Race and Ethnicity (CERE) has hosted the yearly summit to better educate the public about these important topics.

In it's 18 year history, this is the first year the event will be held virtually over the course of three days.

The event includes keynote speakers, opportunities to engage in Q&A and open discussions, and workshop events.

It runs today until the fourth from 10 am- 2 pm.

It's free and open to the public. You can register for the event here.
