The Duluth Enduro Series tackles terrain this summer

Today on Good Morning Northland Dustin, the Vice chair of COGGS joined Sierra Naess to chat about the Enduro Series bike racing this summer.

The Duluth Enduro Series just tore through Hawk Ridge! The exhilarating bike race series is organized by the Cyclists of Gitche Gumee Shores, also known as COGGS.

Dustin, the vice chair of the COGGS board, joined me this morning to share what keeps this series alive and thriving.

“We just wanted to provide some fun, free racing for the community, get people outdoors enjoying the sport, and introduce them to Enduro,” said Dustin.

Hawk Ridge, known for its breathtaking views and tough terrain, proved to be a challenging course for riders. Still, Dustin emphasized that the series welcomes participants of all skill levels.

“We offer advanced and recreational stages throughout the whole series. The rec category generally sticks to green and blue trails, while the advanced riders tackle blues, blacks, and double blacks,” he explained.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just getting started, this could be the perfect summer adventure if you’re looking for an exciting way to get outside. The Duluth Enduro Series is exclusive to COGGS members, but Dustin noted that you and your family can join for just $35 with a family membership!
