For those of you with a sweet tooth in town, some good news is coming your way tomorrow. The Duluth Candy Company is back!

The shop was originally open in Duluth for 10 years, but like many small businesses it had to permanently close it's doors due to the pandemic.

That's where David and Tami Siebert came in.

The pair recently left Duluth and moved to Las Vegas but after missing the Northland and hearing about the candy company's closing, they decided to do something about it.

"We've loved their product for years and years so we packed up, sold our house in Vegas, moved back to Duluth," said Tami Siebert.

David Siebert says they are excited to carry on the stores legacy.

"We're simply happy to keep the tradition going. It's the exact same recipes, the same candies. We've added a few new favorites, so the goal is just to be one of the staple businesses in the community."

Located at the old Fanny Rose building on Superior street, the Sieberts say they want their shop to be the sweetest spot in Downtown Duluth.

The grand reopening is tomorrow, June 1st.
