Tech Bytes: Yahoo! releases first phone

Yahoo! has launched it's first smartphone- and it costs just $50. It's a bright purple Android that comes with select apps pre installed, front and rear facing camers and 32 gigabytes of storage. Service is included through Yahoo!'s parent company, Verizon.

Alexa is having a birthday sale. Amazon's voice assistant turns six this week and to celebrate, prices on Alexa's are being slashed. An Echo Dot 3rd generation drops to just $19 and the Echo flex will cost just $10.

Starbucks says nearly a quarter of all US retail orders are mobile orders through the company's app.  The retail giant launched the mobile order and pay system five years ago but it has become even more popular this year during the pandemic.
