Tech Bytes: Bold new look coming to most Apple devices
In today’s Tech Bytes, Apple is introducing a new software design called Liquid Glass. It uses real-time rendering to create a glass-like feel with transparent menus and features. Liquid Glass will be available on almost all Apple devices.
The new iOS 26 software also includes upgrades for the Messages app. You’ll now be able to see live indicators showing who is typing, even in group chats. You can also decorate your conversations with background wallpapers.
Finally, the Nintendo Switch 2 is reportedly being sold at a record pace. Industry insiders report that more than 3 million consoles were purchased on its release day just last week. The previous record was roughly 1 million units. At this rate, it could surpass the two-month sales record in less than a week.
