Pet of the Week: Gordo

Pet of the Week: Gordo

Gordo is Good Morning Northland''s Pet of the Week! This sweet and energetic three-year-old dog is looking for a loving home. More information on how to adopt him can be found on the GMN page of WDIO.com

Gordo is a 3-year-old sweetheart who’s been waiting for his forever home since January 8th. Full of energy and personality, Gordo is a silly, lovable pup who loves to move and groove! He thrives on activity and would do best with a family that’s ready to provide structure and continue his training — especially since he can be a little jumpy at times.

Gordo arrived at the shelter as a stray, so staff aren’t sure how he does with cats, kids, or new dogs. However, he has done well with other dogs at the shelter, especially those who can match his playful, rowdy energy. High-energy canine companions would be the best fit for him.

If you’re interested in adopting Gordo, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road, or call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 starting at 10:30 AM to place a nonrefundable $25 hold toward his adoption fee. This will put you first in line! The Adoption Team is available by phone Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
