Tech Bytes: New fitness tracker can sense your mood

In today's tech bytes-- a new fitness tracker that can sense your mood. Amazon is out with its wearable Halo which tracks body fat percentages and sleep temperature. It also reads your emotional state by listening to your tone of voice. For instance, the Halo will tell users when they are feeling hopeful or hesitant. It's available on preorder for $100.


WalMart says it may join Microsoft in the deal to buy the social media platform TikTok. The deal could be worth $30 billion. The Trump Administration is pushing for new ownership citing security concerns under the current Chinese ownership.

And someone is feeling the need for speed for one of Tom Cruise's maverick helmets from Top Gun. The headgear sold at an online auction for nearly $320,000. Ten of them were made for the 1986 film. The sequel hits movie theaters in December.
