Get into music with Superior’s Porchfest Concert series

Superior’s summer concert series to get underway! Siggy’s Musical Garden kicks off Superior Porchfest on Thursday, June 12 in the Hammond Park neighborhood. The concert series is a family-friendly event that takes place every other Thursday evening throughout the summer. It features local musicians, local artists and food trucks that will move around Superior’s neighborhoods. All events are free to listen to the music.

“Siggy’s Musical Garden is all about building community through music,” Executive Director Cheryl Finkbeiner said in a release. “We’re excited to once again bring people together through performances, art, and great food to neighborhoods across Superior.”

A lineup of musical groups and artists to perform include:

June 12 – Hammond Park Neighborhood
June 26 – East End Neighborhood
July 10 – Hayes Court Neighborhood (Bicycle Night)
July 24 – Central Park Neighborhood
August 7 – Billings Park Neighborhood
August 21 – Village of Superior (Motorcycle Night)
September 4 – Girl Scout Point

Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Most events are from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. but a few begin at 5:30 p.m. Stay up to date on performers, food truck lineups, and rain dates by following Superior Porchfest on Facebook or visiting superiorporchfest.org.
