In today's tech bytes: the FDA approves a new inexpensive COVID-19 test with fast results. The test from dug company, Abbot, still needs to be administered by a healthcare professional using a nasal swap. It costs just five dollars and results come back in just 15 minutes.

Federal prosecutors have announced a massive movie piracy bust. Authorities in New York charged three men, accusing them of obtaining movies before they were released and putting them online. Investigators say the ring stole nearly every movie released by the major studios since 2011.

SpaceX is preparing for another historic day. Elon Musk's company will launch a rocket from Cape Canaveral Friday and attempt to land the booster back on dry land. Other SpaceX launches used a landing pad on the water. SpaceX hopes the use of reusable rockets will enable space tourism in the future.
