Duluth City Hall was closed temporarily due to a widespread power outage Wednesday.

The government building will open back up to the public at 10:00 a.m.

City staff would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding.

According to a tweet by Minnesota Power, crews restored power to all customers by 8:50 a.m. The cause was a raven in a feeder that tripped main feeder lines.

The areas hit affected were Duluth Denfeld, Canal Park, Downtown, Piedmont Heights and Central Hillside neighborhoods.
