An Alborn woman faces 24 charges for allegedly causing a serious crash with a school bus in September.
An Alborn woman faces 24 charges for allegedly causing a serious crash with a school bus in September.
Svea Lynn Snickers, 19, was behind the wheel of an SUV that day. Authorities said she ran a stop sign, and hit the side of the bus, causing it to roll once and land on its side.
This was at County Road 5 and Townline Road in Cherry Township.
There were 21 students on the bus. According to the complaint, they had various injuries ranging from abrasions to a concussion, fractured collarbone, lacerations and scrapes.
The complaint said that law enforcement used warrants to determine Snickers had been using Snapchat right before the crash.
She’s set to appear in court on January 30th.
