Two teens arrested after threatening another with a knife

Duluth Police are investigating what they call, an altercation at Klang Park on Monday. According to a report from the DPD, officers responded to 9221 Orchard Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 9. They received a call regarding a person with a weapon.
When officers arrived, they located a juvenile male who told them he was on a swing set when other juveniles approached him and allegedly threatened him with a knife. A short time later, police say a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old male were located. Authorities report both were carrying knives.
The two teens were brought to the Arrowhead Juvenile Center and could face 2nd Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Riot, and Threats of Violence charges.
The other juvenile, was not injured in the altercation. Authorities say the three were known to each other. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
