After nearly eight months of construction, the Super One Virginia South grocery store is back.

Patrick Miner, President of Miner’s, Inc. says every square inch of the Virginia South store has been touched during this multi-million dollar renovation.

The Miner’s family has had a grocery store in Virginia since way back in 1963. But it wasn’t a Super One back in those days.

“We started with a small Piggly Wiggly store,” Patric Miner said. “We’ve been serving this community for a long, long time. We’re really proud of the opportunity to be able to continue to take care of these customers. This reinvestment in this location kind of shows we’re ready and poised to serve the community well into the future.”

Mner says the 55-thousand square foot renovation brings a state-of-the-art shopping experience to Virginia with a completely remodeled store interior and all new energy-efficient equipment through all departments.

The renovated grocery store is located on 17th Street South in Virginia.
