Students try out the trades at Construct Tomorrow

Construct Tomorrow is an opportunity for students from around the region to explore what a career in the construction industry could look like. The event returned to the DECC on Tuesday.

Construction professionals lined Pioneer Hall, offering insight into the industry and hands-on learning experiences to attendees.

For example, students tried walking on a beam, operating a mini crane, and examining electrical wiring.

The event puts an emphasis on apprenticeship programs.

Construct Tomorrow began in 2013.
