Our first taste of spring thunderstorms moved across the region Monday, into Tuesday morning. Round one brought heavy rain, hail and lightning in the morning, causing some areas to lose power. Round two swept across the Northland in the afternoon and overnight, bringing heavy rain. For areas around Lake Superior, fog created low visibility.
According to reports made to the National Weather Service, heavy rain fell for portions of Cook, Itasca and St. Louis Counties.
