Pilgrim Congregational Church holds Souper Bowl of caring for good cause
Celebrating the big upcoming Superbowl weekend the Pilgrim Congregational Church is cooking up everything from chicken tortilla soup to Indonesian carrot soup for a good cause.
The Pilgrim Congregational Church counted up their pre-orders on Wednesday February 5th after their order deadline passed by.
They collected around 200 orders for this year’s souper bowl of caring, and all for a good cause.
Proceeds from the soup sales are going to support youth at Life House.
“We’re on pace to beat last year’s dollar amount last year,” said Chef Steve Cushing. “We raised almost 2200 this year is close to 2800.”
Pick up for the orders is February 9th, Superbowl Sunday, and there may be more available to buy in person.
