One injured in Duluth two-vehicle accident

Authorities responded to a two-car accident in Duluth on Interstate 35 on the evening of May 16.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol a Kia was heading north on the interstate near 27th avenue West. A Jeep heading the same direction struck the Kia from behind and both cars ended up at Mile Post 255.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to a Duluth hospital to be treated for “non-life threatening injuries.”
The road surface was said to be wet, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Mayo Ambulance in the incident.
