One injured in two-car accident

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a two car accident in Northland Township in St. Louis County on the evening of February 1.
According to the incident report, a Jeep travelling south on Highway 53 was in the right lane getting ready to turn left at a crossover onto Harris Road, when it struck a Kia in the left lane on Highway 53.
One passenger in the Kia suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to a healthcare facility for treatment.
The State Patrol said road conditions were snowy and icy.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by Meadowlands Ambulance, St. Louis County Sheriff and Rescue, and Grand Lake Fire.
