Names released of people involved in apparent murder-suicide in Chisholm

The Chisholm Police Department has identified the three people who were killed or injured during the shooting in Chisholm on Tuesday evening.

The woman killed was Lindsey Kaye Adams, 30, of Chisholm. The man who died is Leo James Schweiss, 34, of Hibbing.

The individual who was injured and is expected to recover is Ryder Presley Grove, 25, also of Hibbing.

While the investigation remains ongoing, police said the preliminary information indicates this was most likely the result of an apparent murder-suicide.

Chief James Vukad added, “This is a heartbreaking and deeply painful event. On behalf of the Chisholm Police Department, I want to extend my sincerest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of those involved. Both Lindsey and Leo had children, family, and friends who are now left grieving an unimaginable loss. This tragedy has touched our entire community.”
