Modified hours for Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge

The City of Duluth is announcing modified operational hours for the Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge. These operational changes are for this Independence Day. The Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge will alter its normal summer operating schedule tomorrow, to accommodate the local fireworks display.
The Modified hours for Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge’s operational changes are listed below.
The Aerial Lift Bridge will remain in the lowered position from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm. The
bridge will not lift for boats to pass under the bridge during this time, with the exception of
emergency marine vessels.
The Minnesota Slip Bridge will remain in the lowered position from 8:30 pm until 11:00 pm.
The bridge will not open for marine traffic during this time, with the exception of emergency
marine vessels.
