Minnesota flags to fly at half-staff Monday

Monday, May 25 is Memorial Day. Governor Tim Walz has ordered all U.S. and State flags in Minnesota to fly at half-staff.

“On Memorial Day we honor the brave service members who have given their lives for our great nation,” said Governor Walz. “The sacrifice of those who defend our freedom and democracy cannot be repaid; as we work toward peace, let us never forget those who have served on our behalf.”

Flags are to be lowered from sunrise to 12:00pm in honor of those who have died while serving in the United States military.
