Loeffler-Kemp seeks re-election to Duluth School Board

Rosie Loeffler-Kemp announced Wednesday she is seeking re-election to the Duluth School Board. Loeffler-Kemp represents District 1 in Duluth.
“I believe strong public schools build strong communities and that drives my passion to continue to serve all our children,” Loeffler-Kemp said in a campaign announcement. She says she has been involved in the community for over 30 years.
“It is an honor and privilege to serve on the Duluth School Board. I will continue to build on our strengths, carry out our community driven Strategic Plan, and expand on our community partnerships to ensure every student in Duluth achieves a high-quality education. And l will continue to work collaboratively with my School Board colleagues and our dedicated staff to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all our students and staff to learn and work.”
Loeffler-Kemp is currently serving as policy committee chair for the Duluth School Board. According to her campaign release, she has served as Board Chair, Vice Chair, Clerk, Education and Business Committee Chair. She was selected as a 2025 All-State School Board member by the Minnesota State School Board Association, and received the 2021 Presidential Award and 2017 Director’s Award.
Rosie and her husband Ken live in the Lakeside neighborhood and her four children graduated from the school district.
The general election will be November 4.
