A slow moving area of low pressure will continue to bring us spotty chances of rain tonight and tomorrow. By Thursday, a more potent low will slide just northeast of our viewing area but create a cold northerly flow. Temperatures will drop nearly 20°F or more from Wednesday to Thursday. Highs will go from the upper 60s to the upper 40s in a 24-hour period.

The overnight temperatures Wednesday night into Thursday morning will be cold enough to create some light snow or a wintry mix throughout the arrowhead. None of the light snow will likely accumulate or even stick around as temperatures begin an uptick heading into the weekend. Those planning to go to see the fall colors this weekend or head over to Bayfield for the apple festival will be in for a wonderful weekend.
