Justin Liles: Scattered afternoon showers and return of smoke by the late afternoon
A low passing off to the east will continue to impact the Northland through the afternoon and evening. Wrap-around moisture will be available to spark off occasional showers throughout the afternoon and evening. Our Monday and the start to the work week will be very similar to our Sunday. There is a good chance we will smell more wildfire smoke this afternoon. We expect to receive more returns around noon on Tuesday.
Mid-week is the best chance for sunshine. Cool temperatures today will warm back into the seventies until late week. By the end of the week, we will likely see a brisk lake breeze by the end of the week into the weekend. Temperatures are likely going to be much colder by the lake then farther inland by the end of the week and the weekend.
