Interest at Iron Range Job Fair in Virginia

Hundreds of people showed up to see who is hiring at the Iron Range Job Fair.

A good turnout for the Iron Range Job Fair, with hundreds of people checking out new opportunities.

More than 70 employers set up booths at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, ready to share about their company.

One man walked into the fair last year, and is now manning the Giants Ridge booth. “I retired from UPS, and we moved to the Range. I checked in with Giants Ridge, and it turned out to be a great experience.”

He’s now the Race and Event Coordinator.

Health care remains a high need, with about 1/3 of the employers coming from that field.

The Laurentian Chamber organizes the fair.
