Hibbing man faces drug and child endangerment charges

A 39-year-old Hibbing man was arraigned in St. Louis County District Court in Hibbing on Thursday. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender’s Task Force, Sheriff’s deputies and Hibbing Police executed a search warrant at 3590 Koivula Road on Wednesday, April 30, just before 11:00 a.m.
During the execution of the search warrant, Cody Joe Koski was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant.
According to a report from the Sheriff’s office, investigators found methamphetamine, fentanyl, and psilocybin mushrooms at Koski’s residence. The report says Koski’s infant child was also removed from the home.
Koski was arraigned Thursday on charges of 1st degree sale methamphetamine, 5th degree possession of fentanyl/psilocybin mushrooms, child endangerment and possession of metal knuckles.
