Missing Duluth woman found deceased

According to the Duluth Police Department, 61-year-old Sherri Lee Monroe has been located deceased by the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.
She was last scene last seen around Rices Point around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, and was recovered from the river on Tuesday, April 22.
Authorities say no foul play is suspected and next of kin has been notified.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Monroe family and friends as they are grieving her loss,” said Mattie Hjelseth, Duluth Police Department Public Information Officer.
