Cooper Elementary breaks ground on new athletic field

Cooper Elementary School in Superior broke ground yesterday on a new athletic field.

The Superior School District says the new field aims to provide a safe, high-quality field for athletes of all field sports to enjoy, and create new recreational opportunities for both the students and the community.

They say construction is set to last about four weeks.

Several Northland organizations have been involved in the process up to this point, and many more will be directly involved in the construction.
