Cook County reports road washouts after Monday storms

Two Cook County roads remain closed as of Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday morning, the county said five roads were partially or fully closed after being washed out by significant rainfall in Monday’s storms.
Round Lake and Hungry Jack roads are still closed while crews make repairs.
The Cook County Highway Department worked on the following roads:
- Hungry Jack Road (CR 21)
- Clearwater Road (CR 22)
- Round Lake Road (UT 47)
- North Gunflint Lake Road (UT 46)
- Moose Valley Road (UT 71)
They said a contractor was also heading out to fix washouts on Mile-O-Pine off South Gunflint Lake Road (CR 20).
