Deceased identified in Hermantown shooting incident

The Hermantown Police Department previously confirmed that two people were found deceased on the 4300 block of Midway Road, near Arrowhead Road Friday morning, June 13 as the result of a shooting incident. Authorities have now confirmed the deceased as Lissette Joy Nelson, 62, and Bradley Duane Nelson, 63.

The department was called to the location before 9:00 on a physical domestic violence call, but upon arrival with the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, it was quickly discovered that there were two deceased individuals in the residence.

“Both departments were able to secure the area, and the initial investigation determined there is no additional threat to the public at this time,” explained a representative from the Hermantown Police Department.

No other individuals were located in the residence and authorities say that there are no outstanding suspects in the incident.

Authorities have not confirmed the cause of death for the two individuals.
