ATV trails near Barnes close due to fire risk

ATV trails in the Barnes, Wis., area are closed for the week due to high fire risk.
The Bayfield County Forestry & Parks Department says Trail 17 will remain closed until noon on Friday, May 16. Officials are asking that all ATV riding be minimized during the extremely dry conditions.
They say rain in the forecast for Thursday is expected to improve conditions for weekend riding.
The Wisconsin DNR has issued a Red Flag Warning for high fire danger.
