Arrest made in Greenwood and Vermilion Lake Township burglaries

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office reports that an arrest has been made in connection to burglaries in Greenwood and Vermilion Lake Townships. Authorities had received numerous reports of burglaries and thefts in the townships in the past two weeks.

Through information received from local residents and cabin owners, the Sheriff’s Office was able to identify a suspect and made an arrest on Friday. The suspect was booked into the St. Louis County Jail pending charges for Burglary.

“Due to the number of reported burglaries and thefts in this situation, it remains an ongoing and active investigation,” explained Sgt. Chad Larson with the Sheriff’s Office.
