Alzheimer’s, it’s a disease that affects so many across the country. However, there is hope and light out there for those who need it through the storm of the disease. 10% of your total food purchases will benefit the Alzheimer’s Disease Center when you purchase a meal from Texas Roadhouse Sunday, November 20th.

“It’s amazing that Texas Roadhouse is working with us to help raise awareness so people know that they can contact the Alzheimer’s Association if they’re having any needs questions that they need answered. Or if they’re curious about it and how they can get involved. Of course, we’re also huge into research. There’s been some great things coming out that FDA is working on approving some possible drugs and helping to provide good lives for people.” Says Tami Sibert, Walk Manager of the Northern Region of Minnesota Alzheimer’s Association.

Alzheimer’s is a disease that affects so many, finding a cure still may be far in the future, however the help provided through unexpected collaborations like this is key in helping those who need it most.

“I can’t speak a whole lot on all of the things because of course there’s still research happening, but it’s just really getting a lot of people far. And mostly our message is we want people to know that they don’t have to do this alone. There’s support groups. There’s an 800 number. You can look up and find all kinds of classes that you can do online to have a better understanding or even just to study brain health for yourself, for you,” continues Sibert.

Dine to Donate is happening at Texas Roadhouse for one day only, Sunday November 20th from 11 AM to 10 PM. All you have to do is come in, tell your server that you’re there to support the Alzheimer’s Association and 10% of that food bill will be donated back.
