A Christmas tale as old as time. And the people of the Minnesota Ballet have continued their Christmas tradition into it's second year; a special preview performance for patients at Essentia.

"Our production is a community tradition," says Artistic Executive Director, Robert Gardner. "We are partners with the Minnesota Ballet Orchestra, which is area musicians. And the Lake Superior Youth Chorus sings in it."

Dancers twirled, spun, leapt, and glided across the floor of the atrium inside the First Street Clinic.

"There's nothing like seeing a live performance and dance in such an expressive way to tell a story like the Nutcracker," Gardner says.

See the live performance at the DECC, December 7-9, inside Symphony Hall. Tickets are on sale now. Purchases can be made at the DECC Ticket Box Office,, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
