A portion of 1st Street in Duluth will be converted temporarily to two-way traffic, according to the City of Duluth. The change will be between 8th Avenue East and 12th Avenue East, near St. Luke's Hospital and will begin at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

The work is expected to be completed by 7:00 a.m.

St. Luke’s Hospital made the request for the temporary conversion as a part of their COVID-19 Contingency Plan to facilitate patient care and access to their medical facilities.
