It's time to head to Greece! The Twelve Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Duluth will hold its annual "Taste of Greece" festival on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26. Come enjoy the delicious food from Greece, homemade bread and pastries, and Greek coffee while enjoying the traditional folk dancing and music.

The "Taste of Greece" is held at Marshall School, 1215 Rice Lake Road in Duluth. The event runs 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.  Guests can eat in or carry out.

“For nearly 30 years, the Taste of Greece has been one of the most delicious events of summer in Duluth,” co-chair Kate Patronas said in a press release. “We serve gyros, shish-kabobs, homemade Greek bread and pastries, baklava sundaes, and iced coffee, while dancers in traditional Greek costumes perform Greek dances.” Co-chair George Patronas added, “For those with busy schedules, we have easy pick-up options—an express food tent outside—making it easy to make a quick stop for lunch or dinner all weekend.”

Guests are invited to visit the chapel and bookstore to discover more about the 2,000-year-old traditions and history of the Orthodox Church.

Admission and parking are free, and the event is open to the public. All are invited to this family-friendly weekend of fun in a festive atmosphere.

The Twelve Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church was founded by Greek immigrants in 1918. Today, its congregation is made up of people from more than 24 different ethnic backgrounds, maintaining the faith of the apostles.
