Target's Friday night announcement had listed dozens of Minnesota stores that would be temporarily closed for safety reasons. The Friday night list included Duluth, Grand Rapids, and Virginia.

By Saturday, the northeastern Minnesota stores had been removed from the list and were open for business. Dozens of stores in the Twin Cities area, as well as some in other states, remained on the closure list Saturday afternoon.

In a press release, Target said they understand the pain felt across communities from George Floyd's death this week. They said their focus is on their employee's safety and helping the community heal.

The ongoing list of stores temporarily closed can be found here.
