The 100th South St. Louis County Fair has been canceled.

It had been scheduled for July 29-Aug. 1, but organizers posted on Facebook that they made the decision to cancel it due to health concerns with large crowds. 

"So for now stay safe," the announcement read. "Let's make 2021 So. St. Louis County Fair's 100th Anniversary one we will remember."

It joins a list of summer events like the Duluth Airshow and All Pints North beer festival that will not happen in 2020.
