A 25-year-old Saginaw woman is seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash shortly after midnight on the Blatnik Bridge.

The State Patrol says 25-year-old Kiera James was the passenger in a vehicle that was heading north on the Blatnik Bridge from Superior when it lost control and rolled over, coming to rest off the road to the right, just prior to the I-35 exit.

James was brought to a Duluth hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol says it isn't known whether James was wearing a seat belt.

The Duluth Police Department, Duluth Fire Department and EMS responded to the incident.
