The Duluth Police Department is investigating an incident of shots being fired in a residential alley in the Central Hillside neighborhood on Wednesday evening.


Police received are report of shots fired shortly after 8 p.m. in the alley in the 100 block between East 4th Street and East 5th Street. A news release says officers located evidence consistent with the report, but did not locate any suspects.

No injuries have been reported.

The Duluth Police Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating this incident.
