The results from Papa Murphy's GIVE20 fundraiser are in from their campaign on Wednesday. Northlanders helped raise more than $600 for the Boys and Girls Clubs just by picking up a pizza.

If you used the GIVE20 code, 20% of the purchase was donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland. The Duluth franchise owner says the community's youth are important to his family.

"I'm a former high school teacher so to be able to contribute to things for young people is just where we're at," said Joel Meyer, Papa Murphy's Duluth franchise owner. "And my wife is a fifth grade teacher so young people are really near and dear to our hearts. We were really excited to be a part of it."

Part of the funds will go toward mini-murphs, which are small pizzas that kids can make themselves with their favorite toppings. In addition to the GIVE20 funds, donations from the past four weeks were presented in a check to the Boys and Girls Club for over $3,000.

Joel Meyer says they're looking at more fundraising opportunities with the Boys and Girls Clubs in the future.
